Six young people from Masiphumelele, Khayelitsha, Grassy Park, and Athlone in Cape Town are making history. They are taking part in the iconic Cape2Rio yacht race as the first crew from marginalised communities. Strategy and Customer Experience executive at Alexander Forbes, Viresh Maharaj says the six rose above their difficult circumstances and are a symbol of what can be achieved in the future despite challenges.
